US Department of the Treasury — Check whether your surety bond is being issued by an approved provider, per the Department of the Treasury's Listing of Approved Sureties.

Registration Tools

Central Contractor Registration
—If you don’t register in CCR, the Federal Government won’t be able to pay you. Once you’ve registered, your company will be issued a CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) Code.CCR also maintains a dynamic business search that can connect you with sub-contractors and joint venture partners.
Grants.gov —You’ll need to register first at CCR and then on this site before you will be able to submit your grant proposal through this electronic platform. Leave yourself at least two weeks to get through the process.
FedTeDS —FedBizOpps may kick you to this site, which is a platform available to all Federal agencies for disseminating information on their solicitations. To access solicitations here you will first need to be registered in CCR; use that information to register for FedTeDS. Allow at least 48 hours for processing.
DUNS Registration —Get a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet, required for CCR registration
NAICS Wizard — Identify your company's North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) number, required for CCR registration.
SIC System Search — Find your Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code, required for CCR.gov registration.

Past Performance Tools

Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) — Contractors can access their Government past performance information here. Data from the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) and four other performance assessment tools feed into the PPIRS.

Funding Tools

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance — Provides a comprehensive listing of US grant and loan programs.
Funding Forecasts — Few Federal agencies forecast their funding opportunities for the year ahead, but among those that do are Health and Human Services (HHS). The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the Department of Education.
Federal Register — Provides current and archived information and notices from Federal agencies and organizations.
